A Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal profile of a U.S. Bank executive earned contributing writer Robin Washington a top journalism award from the National Association of Black Journalists.
Washington, a Duluth-based freelance journalist, interviewed Greg Cunningham, U.S. Bank’s vice president of global inclusion and diversity, and wrote the profile titled, ” ‘I’m always optimistic’ — U.S. Bank’s Greg Cunningham on overcoming adversity and breaking through barriers.”
The Salute to Excellence Award in the Newspaper-Business-Under 150,000-circulation category was given to Washington at the NABJ’s national convention in New Orleans last week.
The profile was part of the Business Journal’s “Then and Now” series in which we trace success stories of entrepreneurs and business leaders in the Twin Cities.
